Brian is both a filmmaker and an actor. Posing as a student, he became interested in film at Brooklyn College while bouncing from set to set picking up every skill he could wrap his mind around. It wasnt long before he branched out to do his own projects. At BC, Brian wrote and directed a number of short films including a Crime/Black Comedy called Hostage Person and a Melodrama entitled La Fleure Sans Vie. Brian made his feature film acting debut last year in Princeton Holt"s Cookies & Cream, which he also helped produce. During the week Brian instructs kids in video production for an after school program. Uptown is Brians feature-length directorial debut.
PRINCETON HOLT
Producer
Princeton Holt is the writer, director, producer and CEO of One Way or Another Productions LLC. He has produced, written and directed several projects since graduating from the New York Film Academy in 2000 and launching the company. They include commercials for Verizon Wireless and music videos for Boston-based rock group Diatribal Revenge. In 2003 an L.A.-based independent film company optioned his feature script American Woman. In 2005, he wrote and directed Phish; to date the short film has garnered him Official Selection at various film festivals across the country. Princeton made his feature-length directorial debut last year with Cookies & Cream. His second feature, The Butterfly Chasers, is currently in development. www.1wayoranother.net

Editor
Daniel works as a freelance editor. He has edited numerous short films and tv-length documentaries. This is his first edit for a feature length film and the second collaboration with director Brian Ackley. Daniel has also written and directed three short films and is currently working on a series of experimental hi-8 films. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.
DAYVA SEGAL
Composer
Dayva Segal studied music at Hofstra University before moving on to study audio engineering and music production at The Institute of Audio Research. She has composed for student films as well as personal & educational projects. Since Uptown, Dayva has worked as a production assistant on a few projects, and is currently pursuing production & event coordination, while still composing in her spare time. www.wayoverbudget.com
